Thoughts on Masks.

China’s Surveillance State Should Scare Everyone The Atlantic by Anna Mitchell - February 2, 2018

Not even masks can stop China’s surveillance as this startup helps the government to deploy new AI facial recognition technology TechStartups Team Posted On March 10, 2020

All of the COVID-19 insanity inspired this poem I wrote back in early March.

Mask good keep others safe… SEPARATE… That man has mask probably sick… STIGMATIZE… Mask shaming is bad... CONDEMN... Now we all should wear mask to show solidarity... POPULARITY… Terrorist wear masks… FEAR… Masks no good we cannot see your face… ANTISOCIAL… If you don’t wear mask you could kill grandma… ARGUE... Grandma should wear mask all the time… ISOLATE... I'm back!

After working on a brief business venture in Washington state, I'm happy to announce that I, NYARTMAN your friendly neighborhood inkslinging superhero, am back in Gotham and taking appointments.  If you are in need of a new custom tattoo that will shine like a beacon and stand out in the crowd then you've your champion.  Perhaps you require rescuing from a villainous tattoo that needs subduing by my extraordinary cover up powers, then don't hesitate and contact me today.  We'll smack that troublesome old tattoo into submission and transform it into a work of art you will be proud of.

Stan Lee is WOW'ed by the Jeremy Garrett's Tattoo Work!

I recently had one of, if not the most, proudest moment in my career as an artist.  On March 3rd, at the Emerald City Comiccon in Seattle, WA, my client Dave McCrory showed legendary comic book hero Stan Lee the custom comic piece I designed and have been tattooing on him.  Mr. Lee was highly impressed and went so far as to sign the tattoo.  In short order, of course we will be making that autograph permanent.   Having studied at SVA in NYC and majoring in comic book design and illustration, Stan Lee has always been huge inspiration to me.  Over the years I've worn out at least one copy of his book "How to Draw Comics the Marvel Way".   It has been a bible to me.  I'm highly honored by Mr. Lee's reaction to my work. My little girls are also comic book addicts and are familiar with Stan Lee.  After seeing how Mr. Lee reaction to my work filled them with pride in their father, this has become a priceless treasure to me.  Thank you Mr. Lee and Mr. McCrory for this wonderful gift.

Please Donate, so KIMBERLY KAYE DOESN'T FIGHT ALONE

Kimberly KayeKimberly Kaye and her husband Ray Lopez are two very special clients and friends of mine.  Kimberly has a serious medical condition and they both need your help.  Michael Cerveris who played The Observer in the hit science fiction series "Fringe" (2008) wrote the following about their situation:

After years successfully fighting autoimmune disease, Kimberly was hit hard by a drug resistant kidney infection this summer and now needs help healing the traumatic organ damage left behind. Kim has heroically fought back against the odds for years. This the first time I've known her or Ray, her husband/caretaker, to so seriously need help to heal and survive...

Please read more of their amazing story and please help them if you can by visiting their GoFundMe page. They are good people who need some help.
